UK Circular Plastics Network is an activity supported by KTN & UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) and exists to engage Britain’s best scientists and innovators to help move the country towards more circular economic and sustainable approaches to plastics. We have a cohort of around 4000 members and ri=n an annual virtual conference Called GRIPS – Global Research and Innovation in Plastics Sustainability. We have a particular focus on Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging – a UKRI challenge for which we have successfully supported over 30 consortia whose project values exceed £95million all innovating towards outcomes leading to a better solution to packaging materials and associated waste.
